The BEST Recipe Ever

Well, at least to ME it is, because it tastes awesome and I can eat it without cheating!

South Beach "Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream"
Serves 1

Ingredients
1 no sugar added fudgsicle
1-2 tablespoons peanut butter
1-2 tablespoons light frozen whipped topping or whipping cream

Instructions
Take a no sugar added fudgsicle and scrape it off the stick (microwaving it for about 15 seconds helps). Then stir in 1-2 tablespoons of natural peanut butter and 1-2 tablespoons of light whipped topping. Mix together and enjoy.

*I put mine in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes - yum!

MEOW! Cat-fights! I can't take it anymore!

All my girls do is fight. I cannot leave the room for more than 10 seconds before I hear screams or my older child whining loudly, "Maaaahm, Emma keeps kicking me..."
I leave the room to start supper, screams. I try to do some laundry in the basement, screams. God forbid the telephone rings. Then all hell breaks loose. Lately when the phone rings, I take it right into the bathroom with me and lock myself in. Thank God for caller ID! I now only answer the phone if it's someone who knows me personally. I tried to answer a call from my doctor once, and I couldnt hear a word she was saying, but I couldnt interupt her and tell my kids to back off while on the phone - wouldnt want her to think I was human :o)

I am so jealous of moms with daughters who play together. What is that like?

Who Needs Sleep?

One of my favorite Barenaked Ladies songs! And the words are so appropriate for our lives right now. My husband and I haven't had a full nights sleep in 6+ years.

Lately, it has been our youngest who has been waking frequently. She is our "feisty" girl, and she wakes up screaming and yelling. Not a simple, "Mommy, I had a bad dream" but a full blown, "MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" which wakes up everyone in the house. Now, it wouldnt be a big deal to me to just let her cry it out a bit. But my 6 year old is in desperate need of all the sleep she can get - and she and my littlest share a bedroom. What were we thinking with that arrangement?

So we have been doing everything in our power to pacify our restless sleeper...which usually means that one of us puts her in our bed, and the other goes into her room and sleeps in the twin bed.

Needless to say, the chance of us having more children is pretty much slim to none. *Sorry, Gramma*
